Erinma's OBE Presentation - 2 December 2008

Erinma Bell is presented with her OBE by the Queen at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

"I was nervous and excited but proud to go there and say I was from Moss Side, Manchester".

We're moving again! November 2008

Carisma's Office has moved to share the new home of PeaceFM. The new address is: St Mary's Parsonage, Parsonage Gardens, Hulme, Manchester M15 5WD.
New phone number to follow, but in the meantime use 07903390882.

Erinma Bell MBE - June 2008

Big congratualtions to Carisma Chair, Erinma Bell who has been awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday honours list. Erinma said it indicates that: "the work we have been doing has finally been recognised. Now the problem is on the agenda and people with the power to change things are finally listening to us."

PeaceFM is back - April 2008

Community radio station PeaceFM was unable to broadcast during PeaceWeek this year, but will be on air for 4 weeks this summer. Tune to 106.6 FM from August 7 to September 4 for positive sounds.

Carisma Office move - February 2008

Due to the sale of the Saltshaker, Carisma has moved its office to the Millennium Powerhouse on Raby Street in Moss Side. And we have a new administrator - Evonne Haughton. We'd like to say a huge thank you to St Edmunds Church for their incredible generosity in accomodating us at the Saltshaker for the last four and a half years.
