Members of the local community along with local Councillors, representatives of the Police, Fire Service and Faith Groups joined together on November 4th, 2004 to hear about and celebrate what Carisma has achieved since it began in January 2003.

Different members of the Core Group shared about the various aspects of Carisma's activities and events we have organised, including Peace Week, the Memorial Service, Community Consultations, Street Pastors and networking and media work.

We also heard from members of the Street Pastors team and looked ahead to our next PeaceWeek.

Guest speaker Rev Nims Obunge told us aboutThe Peace Alliance in London and encouraged us to build on what has been achieved so far.

"We are all Carisma!" Eight members of the original Carisma Core Group will continue and an invitation was made for new members to join them. More..
