November 15, 2005 at St Edmund’s Church. Despite the cold weather a good number of local people and representatives of various agencies came along to hear about CARISMA's activities in 2005. These included reports on:

• PeaceWeek - the Lantern March and Peace Mosaics, the CD of Peace songs made by local children, and work in schools.
• The Peace Tent at the Garden of Delights Festival
• Street Pastors
• Stop and Search consultations
• Future plans and ideas
• Media report
• Financial report

There was a fantastic musical slot from special guest Lyrican. A name you will hear again.

The meeting also voted to support CARISMA's application for charitable staus.

Thanks to St Edmunds for hosting us, and Ira for providing refreshments.

“We are all CARISMA!”

It is important to get new people involved on the Core Group of CARISMA bringing fresh ideas and energy and to make sure the group represents all of the community as far as possible.

There is a commitment involved - monthly meetings, plus work to be done in between, & other events and activities to attend to represent the community through CARISMA. And then there is PeaceWeek to be organised...!
