The Carisma Annual Meeting for 2008 was held on November 19, at St Edmund's Church, Whalley Range
Local people and representatives from community organisations, Council and Police met to hear about Carisma's activities in the last year, including PeaceWeek 2008. Erinma Bell was congratulated on the award of her MBE, and thanks were given to the Carisma Trustees, in particular departing Treasurer Dawn Owen-Harris, and supporting volunteers, workers and organisations such as GMP. Plans so far for PeaceWeek 2009 were discussed, a progress report was given on the proposed 5 year PeaceFM community radio station. |
